A WeChat mini-program connecting directly to BLE hardware: pairing, status, parameter control, and OTA updates.

Challenge

Without a dedicated app, users had to download one for setup — causing heavy first-activation drop-off. The brand wanted to lower the barrier via a mini-program.

Solution

Built full pairing / read-write / subscription flow on WeChat Bluetooth API, customized GATT on the device side, enabling scan-to-pair-to-use out of the box.
